Connecting the FTAPI server to an AD/LDAPS

After connecting to AD/LDAPS, the customer's Active Directory server, which is a directory service that stores user data among other things, and the FTAPI server can communicate with each other over a secure connection. This makes it possible for users to authenticate themselves on the FTAPI server using their Windows account credentials. Therefore, there is no need to create a dedicated account for the user on the FTAPI server.

SSO (Single Sign-On) via SAML

The FTAPI platform allows for integration with the customer's SAML identity provider. This makes it possible for users to authenticate themselves on the FTAPI server using their credentials from the connected identity provider (which could be a Windows account, an MS365 account, a Google account, or others). Therefore, there is no need to create a dedicated account for the user on the FTAPI server.

The authentication process takes place using single sign-on (SSO), meaning that the user never has to enter their user data on the FTAPI server.

All attachments are quickly and effectively scanned by the FTAPI virus scanner. If the data is successfully checked, the delivery notification is triggered as usual.

As soon as unwanted malware is detected by the virus scanner, the sender and receiver are informed by an automated email from the system. If necessary, other people (e.g. admin) will be notified.
